David Lerch

David is an associate with Cesari Werner and Moriarty. He was a judicial law clerk in the Central District of California. He has commercial litigation experience as an associate with a large law firm, a small San Francisco-based firm, and a plaintiffs-side class action firm, including litigating insurance coverage, workers compensation, and antitrust and consumer protection cases with favorable results, including a published District Court opinion.

He has experience handling and coordinating large-scale discovery and arguing dispositive motions in federal and state courts.  David also has public sector experience as an attorney with a federal agency, briefing numerous cases in District Court and providing advice on regulatory matters.

David also handles California UCL and antitrust issues as part of his work with the California Lawyer’s Association Antitrust division e-brief committee, the American Bar Association’s antitrust division civil practice and procedure committee, and he has a pro bono practice. He lives in San Francisco and enjoys skiing, travel, hiking, and water sports.
